This section report focuses on people's personal transport options and choices. It provides details of the exact make and model of each car within each household to enable matching to EPA (North America) and VCA (UK) government databases for all cars from 2000 onwards. For each car, information is collected about annual mileage, who is responsible for the car, and what the car is used for, likelihood of disposal in the next 12 months, and type of replacement. The study measures the spontaneous associations and related emotions invoked by images of a Range Rover, a Prius and suburban train. Information is also collected use of different types of public transport and access to these public transport types. Also, how children get to school, and by how far away the schools are. Respondents are asked about their awareness and usage of car-sharing organizations.
