Ad hoc research

We are a full-service market research agency with many years of experience in running international, quantitative studies. We also run qualitative research projects, usually at the preliminary, exploratory phase of a research project. In designing a study, we would typically make use of desk research, including information from our own Environmental Choices™ monitor.

The Environmental Choices™ syndicated survey monitor

This international Environmental Choices™ monitor is fully-owned by Haddock Research. Based on a very wide-ranging questionnaire, it provides a single-source to measure the interrelationships between people's circumstances, attitudes and behaviour relevant to the low carbon sector. The survey provides both specific analyses and holistic understanding of people's lives - particularly important given policy-makers concerns about the 'rebound effect'.

The 2008 study was conducted online amongst nationally representative samples of 1,000+ adults per country in Canada, England and the USA. The study was fielded by Research Now, from September 25th to October 3rd 2008. The analysis is separated into 14 section reports with a range of purchase options. Clients can buy just one section report for a single country, to the entire survey for all countries.

Our vision is that the Environmental Choices™ monitor to be run on a regular basis, amongst larger samples, in all major countries of the world - providing comparative & trend data over the course of subsequent waves.
