The international Environmental Choices™ monitor is fully-owned by Haddock Research. Based on a very wide-ranging questionnaire, it provides a single-source to measure the interrelationships between people's circumstances, attitudes and behaviour relevant to the low carbon sector. The survey provides both specific analyses and holistic understanding of people's lives - particularly important given policy-makers concerns about the 'rebound effect'.
The 2008 study was conducted online amongst nationally representative samples of 1,000+ adults per country in Canada, England and the USA. The study was fielded by Research Now, from September 25th to October 3rd 2008. The analysis is separated into 14 section reports with a range of purchase options. Clients can buy just one section report or results to the entire survey.
Our vision is that the Environmental Choices™ monitor to be run on a regular basis, amongst larger samples, in all major countries of the world - providing comparative and trend data over the course of subsequent waves.
